Blues Under-23s league campaign is set for a dramatic end on Good Friday afternoon.

The equation is simple: they need to win away at Hull City Under-23s to finish runners-up in the PDL North (kick-off 1pm).

That would book them a Play-Off Semi-Final tie at Ipswich Town Under-23s, the winners of the PDL South.

Crewe Alexandra Under-23s leapfrogged over Blues on Monday evening by winning at Colchester United Under-23s as Richard Beale's side went down 2-1 at Bristol City.

So this game in hand is vital for Blues - and they know it is all or nothing.

Blues are without Geraldo Bajrami, who struggled with injury at Ashton Gate. But they can bring in Ben Forrest to partner Joe Redmond.

Olly McCoy, Beryly Lubala, Kyle McFarlane, Josh Andrews and Josh Martin are also not available due to injury, and Charlie Lakin and Josh Dacres-Cogley will be on First Team duty while Jude Bellingham is away with England Under-16s.

Zach Jeacock is set to return in goal in place of Connal Trueman, who was one of four senior players on duty on Monday evening.

Blues also include trialist Enzo Sauvage, of Wolves, in their squad.

Leeds United Under-23s won the PDL North and Coventry City Under-23s finished runners-up in PDL South.
