Bobby’s Fighting for Blues

Bobby Humphries is a remarkable and courageous young Bluenose.

The six-year-old has been battling a brain tumour for three-and-a-half-years. Last week, Bobby finished his last chemotherapy session and is raring to go for the new season.

To celebrate this milestone in Bobby’s brave journey, the Club has given the youngster and his dad, Aaron, a season ticket so Bobby can watch his beloved team in action at St. Andrew’s Trillion Trophy Stadium.

The new Kop season ticket holder made a special visit to Wast Hills on Thursday to receive his ticket and a few surprises from his favourite player.

Lukas Jutkiewicz was on hand to greet Bobby and present him with the new adidas 19/20 home shirt and then invited him for a game of football with Harlee Dean, Jude Bellingham, Steve Seddon and Kerim Mrabti.

Next up for the Yardley youngster was a meeting with head coach Pep Clotet, before heading into the gym with Maikel Kieftenbeld and Jacques Maghoma.

Before the day was out, Bobby instructed Jukey how to celebrate his goals this season – a floss and a fortnite dance!

What a day for Bobby.
