Isaac and George’s sprint challenge

Well done George!

A few months ago George Arnold wrote a letter to Isaac Vassell challenging the Blues striker to a race.

The six-year-old has been waiting patiently for Isaac to return from injury and on Tuesday his dream became a reality.

The Castle Bromwich youngster was thrilled when Isaac accepted the challenge and invited George to the Trillion Trophy Training Centre.

After a warm-up of taking penalties against each other and a game of Teqball, the running challenged commenced in front of the watching Lukas Jutkiewicz and Kristian Pedersen.

The short sprint was won by George – not once but twice after Isaac asked for a rerun!

“George is quick!,” admitted Isaac.

“It was a pleasure meeting George and it was really enjoyable to be able to meet him and have a race against him.”

Well done George!
