Jake Weaver has signed a new one-year contract with Blues.

The 22-year-old was loaned out three times this season.

That was after beginning the campaign on the bench for Garry Monk's side in the Championship opener against Norwich City.

And Weaver ended the campaign again as back-up, among the substitutes for the final match at Reading.

Weaver, from Solihull, who has come through the Club's Academy, spent September to December at Hungerford Town, in the National League South.

That was to garner him some experience - Weaver made 13 appearances - and after that spell ended, he had time on loan at Kidderminster Harriers then Hednesford Town.

Weaver also made seven appearances for Blues Under-23s this campaign.
