Attend the Open Evening, Trial session, and gain a place on the programme to train at the stadium.


Are you a current year 11 or have you just finished your GCSEs? Do you want to study and represent Birmingham City Football Club’s Community Trust?

Applications are being considered for our 2019/2020 intake on to the Football and Education Programme, delivered by Birmingham City Community Trust in partnership with Shenley Academy and the EFL Trust.

There are three full-time further education study programmes available; BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in Sport, BTEC Level 2 Extended Certificate in Sport, and NVQ Certificate Level 2 Sport & Activity Leadership.

Students will study at St. Andrew’s Trillion Trophy Stadium and Shenley Academy, train on the professional facilities at the Trillion Trophy Training Centre, and have the opportunity to compete in the EFL Community & Education Football Alliance.

You’ll be provided with travel to games, training, and lectures, have the opportunity to participate in our pre-season training camps and end of season tours in the UK and abroad, and receive coaching from UEFA A Licenced staff.

The course is available to students aged 16+ with a minimum of four GCSE at grades 4 and above.

Want to play on the St. Andrew’s pitch?

  1. Attend Open Evening on Monday 20 May 6.30pm-8pm at St. Andrew’s Trillion Trophy Stadium.
  2. Attend trial session on Tuesday 28 May 6pm-8pm at St. Andrew’s Trillion Trophy Training Centre.
  3. Gain a place on the programme and train at the stadium in May.

Equipment needed: Full training kit, boots for 3G surface and shin pads.
