Having made his full league debut at the weekend, Boyd-Munce will now link up with his fellow countrymen as Northern Ireland head to Kiev to take on Ukraine (17 Nov).
The 20-year old has started three of Northern Ireland’s nine group games to date, coming off the bench on a further six occasions.
Group 8 runaway leaders, Denmark, have already qualified whilst runners up, Romania, secured their safe passage into the play-off stage with a game remaining. A point separates Ukraine, Finland and Northern Ireland who are all playing for pride with Malta propping up the table.
Meanwhile, Ryan Stirk was handed his first start at Under-21 level for Wales' trip to Belgium last month and will be hoping to follow it up when Paul Bodin’s young side take on Moldova (13 Nov) and group leaders Germany (17 Nov).
It’s been a tough campaign for Wales who, since registering an impressive victory over Belgium in the their opening Group 9 fixture, have lost four of their last five games, leaving qualification out of reach.
The pair will return to the Club on 18 November, in time for Blues' Sky Bet Championship fixture with Coventry City.
