And new signing Christie Murray has been given the honour of team Captain.
Irish international Scott, 27, has become one of Blues leaders on and off the pitch since moving from Reading in 2018.
Similarly Murray, an experienced Scotland international, is an ideal choice to help guide the side.
The 30-year-old attacking midfielder joined from Liverpool Women on a two-year deal and will be key part of Head Coach Carla Ward's plans.
Ward commented: "For me Harriet is the out and out leader.
"She is somebody who oozes professionalism. She is someone who the girls massively respect. She knows the football club.
"Obviously with her medical studies it is one where we might miss her from time to time.
"And that's really why we have gone with the Club captaincy role for her. But, for me, she epitomises everything in a professional. She wears the badge with pride.
"Christie has just come in. The girls have reacted to her very quickly. She leads by example on the pitch and you know that you are always going to get 100 per cent out of her. She's an honest girl, a great girl.
"For me it's the perfect duo."
Carla Ward’s side line up against Brighton & Hove Albion (2pm KO) on Sunday 6 September as the new 2020/21 Barclays FA WSL season gets underway.
