The Platinum members, who have not missed a game home or away in years, were able to browse the full range of Nike kits, training wear and leisure wear whilst enjoying the facelift the store has undergone.
With updated lighting, Nike branding and an increased amount of floor space, the store has a more modernised feel – and it went down well with the fans.
“It’s the best I’ve seen it in over thirty years,” said John Froggatt, a regular in the store with a vast collection of Blues memorabilia.
“It’s so good to actually be back inside the store,” beamed Lynda Courts. “I’m really impressed with it. It’s more open, it’s light and airy and it looks great.”
“Credit where it’s due,” affirmed Ian Millerchip. “It looks great in here.”
The supporters were each presented with a 2020/21 shirt of their choice as a thank you for their loyalty over the years.
