From San Diego to St. Andrew’s Trillion Trophy Stadium

Expat Brummie Michael Yeomans made the pilgrimage back to Birmingham to see his beloved Blues in action against Sheffield Wednesday.

The lifelong supporter moved to San Diego, California in 1983 but his love for the Club has never wavered.

Making the 5,400-mile trip with his sons, who have also been raised as Bluenoses, he was thrilled to be back at St. Andrew’s.

As a thank you for his support, he was surprised on arrival at the stadium with a personal greeting from Gary Gardner.

The Blues midfielder gifted Michael with a signed pennant that will take pride of place in his California home.

“This has been fantastic,” beamed the 70-year-old. “You’ve made my day!”

Keep Right On, Michael!
