International call-ups

Blues Women will have six players on international duty during the upcoming break.

Rachel Corsie, Christie Murray and Abbi Grant have all been called up to the Scotland squad by Shelley Kerr for their upcoming UEFA Women’s Euro 2022 qualifiers against Albania and Finland.

Scotland go into the qualifiers second in their group with two wins from two games having played less games than the majority of the group.

Hannah Hampton has received another call-up to the Lionesses squad, with the team having scheduled a training camp game behind closed doors.

The team will also travel to Germany for a repeat of the friendly at Wembley in November.

Club captain Harriet Scott will be hoping that Ireland can bounce back from defeat against Germany when they take on Ukraine in their penultimate Euro 2022 qualifying game.

Ireland, managed by Vera Pauw, currently sit second in the group behind leaders Germany.

Midfielder Chloe McCarron has been selected for Northern Ireland’s group game away to Belarus, having beaten Faroe Islands 6-0 in the last international break.

Kenny Shiels’ side sit fourth in their group, one point behind their opponents who sit third.
