Mental health has arguably become more important than ever with the impact of Covid-19 and lockdown taking its toll on young people.
As part of Mental Health Awareness Week, Kerys Harrop and Dan Crowley reached out to two inspiring key workers to learn about the support available for young people in this uncertain and challenging time.
Damion Begley, General Manager at Forward Thinking, and Elaine Kirwan, Deputy Chief Nurse at Birmingham Women’s and Children’s Hospital, have worked tirelessly to keep mental health services open and available.
In the revealing and enlightening interview, Dan talks openly about struggles with his own mental health and why mental health awareness is a cause he cares passionately about.
