Blues goalkeeper Michael Luyambula has been recalled from his loan spell with Crawley Town.

The 20-year-old German stopper had been with Crawley since the summer of 2019.

He made six appearances for The Reds, with all of them coming in cup competitions - four in the EFL Cup and two in the EFL Trophy.

Luyambula joined Blues in the summer of 2018 after leaving Borussia Dortmund where he had been a regular for their Under-19s team.

In July 2019 he penned a new one-year deal with Blues.

Luyambula has previously spent a successful spell with Hungerford Town in the National League South.

Blued are keen for him to gain more regular competitive football, hence the decision to recall and review options.

Attacking midfielder Rhys Hilton has also been recalled from his loan.

Hilton joined Redditch United, who play in the Southern League Premier Division Central, at the season's start.

Hilton signed his first professional contract with Blues in September.
