Marc Roberts and Ivan Sunjic back in action for Blues at Fulham.

I could see as well that mentality that they had - they want to win and perform.

Pep Clotet

Pep Clotet has welcomed the return to fitness and form of Marc Roberts and Ivan Sunjic after their displays against Fulham at the weekend

And Blues' Head Coach feels they can be key players for the team during the remaining five games of the season.

Saturday's match at Craven Cottage was a first run out for the duo since 7 March, due to injuries.

But despite their long-term lay-offs, they were two of Blues' most accomplished performers against The Cottagers.

"Both Robbo and Sunjic did very well and I would give them 10 out of 10," said Clotet when asked about their return to the side.

"I though Marc Roberts was very dominant and strong in defending of the box.

"He was important as well in set-plays both defensively and offensively which was important.

"Sunjic after not playing for three months, he looked like he'd played the week before.

"I was really pleased with him and he put in a really strong performance with Gazza (Gary Gardner).

"I think the balance between him and Gazza was right in terms of the defensive duties and physical aggression of the team going forward.

"They played a very big part in the organisation of the team.

"I could see as well that mentality that they had - they want to win and perform.

"It is important to have them available for the remaining five fixtures."
