Reaction: Blues 3 Hull City 3

They put their heart and mentality into the second-half and it just shows the huge pride that the team has and the determination to fight to the end.

Pep Clotet's comments after seeing his side come from behind to earn a draw against the Tigers...

Pep's overall reaction to the game...
"It was absolutely a game of two halves. I thought we started very slowly and we weren't like ourselves in the first-half. We made mistakes and they were two goals in front of us and we were struggling tactically, and we made it very difficult for ourselves. But after half-time I saw a huge determination in the squad, a huge belief in themselves and a huge clarification of what we needed to correct to try and cause Hull more problems. We knew that Hull, because of the situation they are in, that they would fight a lot to get a result here, so we knew it was going to be very difficult. But I think in the second-half we saw the Birmingham that we all like. We made another mistake that led to the third goal, but otherwise I was watching a Birmingham team that could have taken the three points."

On the difference Jeremie Bela made after coming off the subs' bench for the second-half and providing two assists...
"He made a massive difference. We've been building Jeremie's fitness up a bit slower than some of the other players because I wanted him to finish strong. He played a little bit against West Bom, and today for a bit longer and now he is a bit closer to full fitness. I was a little bit cautious with him because I didn't want him to see him get injured again. It was a big statement from him and good for his confidence. He's a massive player for us and this is his way of saying 'Boss, I'm ready to start again.'"

On his side coming back from a poor first-half performance...
"We looked dead and buried in the first-half, but that's the beauty of this game. We recognised what we were doing wrong, and the players knew what we needed to do better. They put their heart and mentality into the second-half and it just shows the huge pride that the team has and the determination to fight to the end."

On Gary Gardner's scoring brace...
"They were two very good finishes. Gary Gardner makes a big difference when crosses are coming into the midfield, and with Dan Crowley it was the first goal he's scored for us in the league. We'd asked Dan to step up his game and he is physically very strong at the moment to how he started the league and he's turned himself into a very important player. I think we could have had another goal but unfortunately, we didn't. When it was 2-3 the team didn't lose their shape or their mentality and kept going to the end."

On Jake Clarke-Salter's substitution and slight injury...
"He defended that cross and he got a knock with the post. He told me that he was alright and that he could finish but he was limping a little bit and at that moment Hull were relying on the break with pace. He should be alright."
