Women's FA Cup to be completed

The Football Association has announced that the 2019/20 Women's FA Cup will be completed at the start of the 2020/21 season.

The competition had previously been put on hold due to COVID-19 and the game's suspension in March.

Quarter-final matches are scheduled to take place three weeks into the new season, which means that Blues will travel to Brighton & Hove Albion on the weekend of 26/27 September.

Blues reached the quarter-final stage following victories against Sheffield United and Sunderland in the earlier rounds.

Brighton meanwhile overcame Aston Villa and Crystal Palace to make it through.

Should Blues progress they will be back in action for the Semi-final just three or four days later on 30 September or 1 October.

The final of the competition will be played at Wembley Stadium on Saturday 31 October.

Quarter-final fixtures:

Brighton & Hove Albion v Birmingham City
Everton v Chelsea
Arsenal v Tottenham
Leicester City v Manchester City
