Xavi Calm has left Blues due to personal reasons.

Calm and the Club came to a mutual agreement over his future in order that he could be with his family in Spain.

Calm joined from UE Cornella in the summer of 2019 as Blues new Under-23s Coach.

Following a restructure under Pep Clotet, he was promoted to First Team duties whilst assisting with the link between Academy players and the senior group.

A popular figure at the Trillion Trophy Training Centre, Calm was a well-respected coach who was instrumental in the growth of young players in the senior squad over the course of this season.

Family matters in his native Spain would have restricted his return to the Club for the remaining league programme.

With the disruption to the season's conclusion and the ambiguity around next season's schedule the Club has supported Calm in his desire to remain in Spain.

Blues are sorry to see Xavi go and we send our best wishes to him and his family.
