Biffa and Blues launch NHS Easter egg appeal

Blues and Biffa are joining forces to help make sure every single member of staff at University Hospitals Birmingham (UHB) is treated to an Easter egg as a small token of appreciation for their ongoing hard work, and we need fans help.

UHB is the NHS foundation that includes Queen Elizabeth, Heartlands, Solihull and the Good Hope hospitals as well as several other smaller sites and has more than 22,000 members of staff – which equates to a lot of chocolate being needed.

Biffa, which has generously supported UHB with the Club in the past, will be running an Easter egg drive at its depot, encouraging members of staff to drop off chocolate into a donation “bin”, which will be delivered to one of the hospitals by the Blues team.

The Club will also be mirroring Biffa’s initiative with staff from the stadium and training ground dropping off eggs into a Biffa donation bin in reception. And we want fans to help us fill the bins with Easter eggs for the NHS staff.

If you’d like to help us, simply order an Easter egg from your chosen supermarket or supplier and have it delivered to the address below by lunchtime on Thursday 1 April:
