The Club can confirm that both Josh Andrews and Ryan Strirk have sustained injuries during their ongoing loan spells at Rochdale and Mansfield Town respectively.
Andrews, who has found the net twice in seven appearances for the Dale and scored in every start for the League Two club to date, has picked up a hamstring injury. The striker picked up the injury last Friday and is set for at least four weeks on the sidelines, with his recovery currently taking place at Wast Hills Training Ground.
Meanwhile, Wales Under-21 international Stirk suffered damage to his ankle ligaments. This injury occurred during a meeting with Rochdale in September and he has returned to Blues for the initial stages of his recovery. The midfielder has made six outings in all competitions for the Stags but will now be out of action for a number of weeks.
Teammate Adan George is continuing his recovery following a knee injury. He remains on site every day for his rehabilitation and will see a specialist this week to monitor his progress.
