Rachel Corsie Departs

The defender joined Carla Ward’s side in August

Blues Women can confirm the departure of Scottish international Rachel Corsie.

Corsie was due to be available for selection until January 28 but will return to America ahead of schedule following early termination of her loan agreement.

Initially on loan to Blues from Salt Lake City based Utah Royals, Corsie heads back to the states as a Kansas City player ahead of their National Women’s Soccer League campaign.

This comes after the NWSL expansion team’s ownership group bought all player rights, draft picks, and certain other assets formerly held by Utah Royals.

The defender joined Carla Ward’s side in August and made 11 competitive appearances, scoring one goal in the Barclays FA Women's Super League.

Scotland’s captain heads to Missouri with thanks and best wishes from everyone at the Club.

Good luck for the future, Rachel.
